Having A Carnival Cruise Ship Wedding

Carnival’s Wedding Department is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST at 1-800-933-4968. They recommend that all wedding couples should book their Carnival cruise prior to booking their “Fun Ship” Wedding Package. Weddings must be booked at least 35 days before sailing.

The professional wedding coordinators will assist the bride and groom with the time and location of the ceremony, reception, guest list, floral upgrades, wedding cake, entertainment, tuxedos, photography and video packages. (Reception rooms will be subject to availability.) A Licensing Coordinator will assist with obtaining the marriage license through the mail where applicable.

The shipboard wedding package includes a ceremony performed by a nondenominational officiant. The bridal bouquet will be provided with a matching boutonniere for the groom. The wedding cake and keepsake topper is included, as well as keepsake champagne flutes. Wedding photos are not included in the package price. These packages start at $800 (not including cruise portion) and vary depending on all ships and ports.

Carnival allows the bride and groom to upgrade their package according to their budget. The wedding coordinators will help design the ideal cruise wedding with packages that include everything from a simple open bar and hors d’oeuvres reception, to an elegant sit-down luncheon in the ship’s formal restaurant.

Weddings can be performed while in the following port ports-of-call: Barbados, Baltimore, Canadian Waters, Catalina Island, Ft. Lauderdale, Galveston, Grand Cayman, Honolulu, Key West, Los Angeles, Maui, Miami, Montego Bay, Nassau, New Orleans, New York, Ocho Rios, Pt. Canaveral, San Diego, San Juan, St. Thomas, Tampa and Vancouver.
